In particular, the list includes: «The art of illumination», «Iftar and socio-cultural traditions related to iftar», «Mastery of playing the mei (Turkish national musical instrument)» and «The art of inlaying mother-of-pearl».

The relevant documents were prepared by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey and adopted at a special meeting of UNESCO. Thus, there are now 30 cultural elements from Turkey on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage.

Turkish citizenship when buying real estate

On May 13, 2022, the Turkish government gazette Resmi Gazete came out with a list of changes signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Foreigners applying for Turkish citizenship must purchase real estate in the amount of 400,000 USD.

Real estate requirements for obtaining Turkish citizenship

The minimum value of the property in lira, equivalent to 400,000 USD, must be stated in the certificate of ownership and confirmed by an expert assessment of an accredited company.

The problem is that 80-90% of real estate in Turkey do not meet the requirements of the “citizenship by investment” program; very often an undervalued value is registered in the Tapu (property certificate).

Another important limitation: the apartment that the investor buys must belong to a Turkish individual or legal entity, that is, you cannot take the property from a foreigner.

Requirements for real estate purchased as part of the investment program:

► Cost in lira, equivalent to 400,000 USD

► Availability of expert assessment

► Ownership of a Turkish individual or legal entity

Transaction and receipt of TAPU

Real estate transactions in Turkey are concluded quickly; when purchasing real estate for obtaining citizenship, special conditions are observed:

► An appraiser’s report is required confirming the value of the object from 400,000 USD

receive a report from an appraiser in advance stating that the property is worth more than 400,000 USD. The owner can set any price, but if a certified expert does not confirm this, then the property will not be able to participate in the citizenship by investment program

► Funds must be transferred officially from the buyer’s account to the seller’s account. With the help of our company, you can pay for real estate in cash in Russia (₽, USD, EUR) and/or in Turkey (on the spot) and we will process this money as an official transfer through a bank, as well as in cryptocurrency!

► It is important to take into account exchange rates. In TAPU, the cost of the object is indicated in Turkish lira, so it is important to compare the cost of the object in liras and in dollars in order to comply with the purchase budget from 400,000 USD

There is a risk of making a mistake, choosing an object that at the time of the transaction will cost 399,000 USD, and not 400,000 USD. Then there will be no basis for obtaining citizenship.
